I don't see how anyone (including Sony fans) can have a favorable opinion of the PSEye (I'm skipping over EyeToy because I never bothered to buy one) seeing as how they only supported the peripheral for the first year with some screen savers, a couple hand moving games and Eye of Judgement (great concept that worked, but too much set up time with all the cards required to play).

Other than that, the only other PSEye retail game was Eye Pet.

It's pretty tough to have a favorable opinion on a peripheral with next to nothing to base it on.

I suppose it works pretty well for video chat, but probably not what a lot of people bought one for.

Yeah PS3 Eye got no support, only:

Bomberman Ultra
Buzz!: Quiz World
Tiger Woods 10
Fight Night Round 4
EyePet
Buzz!: Quiz TV
Burnout Paradise
FaceBreaker
GTI Club : Rally Côte d'Azur
High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition
LittleBigPlanet
PES 2009
SingStar Vol. 2
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2
Aqua Vita/Aquatopia
Ember
Mesmerize
Operation Creature Feature
The Eye of Judgment
The Trials of Topoq
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08
Tori-Emaki
SingStar
Sky Blue
Snakeball
PES 2008

I don't consider letting you take a user picture in a game to be "using" the camera.

It worked for LBP since it let you make stickers for designing levels, but of this list of games, only the following are PSEye required games (used it as a control interface)

Eye of Judgement, Eye Pet, Trials of Topoq, Creature Feature, Tori-Emaki, Mesmerize, Aquatopia.

The last three were screen savers. And yes, I've bought every PSEye game available on PSN.
