If we're talking big name series then Pikmin definitely is the last one Nintendo has made.

The point was that Nintendo invests regularly in huge numbers of new IPs and pretending otherwise is ridiculously off-base.

I'd also like to say: I consider Kid Icarus, for all intents and purposes, a new IP. It has nothing besides (nominally, at that) a few main characters in common with the originals.
