I'm sorry to say... it seems your rant falls right in line with this diagnosis. So do all fanboys/fangirls of any system, company, sports team... etc. Don't know why so many have this innate and emotional bond to any 1 particular thing.

I'm a videogamer, not a fanboy, but have a special place for Nintendo.
