Now I understand what multiplayer beta's are for, to fix glitches and networking problems. But as of now, Medal of Honor is the worst multiplayer FPS  I've played on PS3.

Medal of  Honor has been described as a mix between Call of Duty (Kill streaks and Infantry combat) and Battlefield BC (gameplay  and mechanics). With DICE making the multiplayer, it would seems that MOH would be one great multiplayer game.

At the moment, it is one big failure.

First off, playing as the insurgents, if you gain the second set of kill streaks, the game freezes. This requires a hard reset to the PS3. There are numerous texture problems when it comes to weapon attachments, audio is absolutely terrible and the game suffers from lag, with 700 people playing total.

Hit detection is very, very spotty. Firing at a still target can be fustrating, and most of the time, you have to lead your shot regardless of distance.

There is no destruction in this game, at all. Explosives are weak, they have very small splash damage. Grenades explode in mid air (without cooking them), RPG's can hit you in the chest, and you would live long enough for your health to regenerate. Grenade launchers are worthless, requiring more than two to take out another player. As for the weapons, if your lucky enough to hit someone, it will require an entire clip to kil them. There is virtually no recoil with the weapons (the AK fires straight for the most part) and most of the time your spraying bullets around hoping that you hit something.

The game's pacing is similar to Bad Company 2 (no surprise), so if your a COD junky you will feel out of place. The skill streaks are interesting (thats if the game doesn't freeze when you get them). Its based on points, rather than kills. So by accumulating points while staying alive, you can activate one of two options (defensive or offensive). For example, the first set of options is between an missile strike and a UAV. The second set I can't get to, because the game freezes when you get it. This is the only thing I can think of right now that works with the gameplay.

There are other problems with the beta right now, besides the things I've listed above (the HUD is a complete mess) that I will get to later. If you have questions, let me know.
