Remember that just making a profit in the long run does not mean it was worthwhile. It has to have made enough profit to be justified compared to other things Sony could have done with the money. It's hard to even say that it gained a foothold in the market. Back at the beginning of this generation Playstation was associated with getting the most games. Not any more. Third party support is not going to flock to PSP2 like it did to PSP initially. |
I think the problem is that Western developers in general aren't going after the handheld market in general.
