Power consumption for the new 360

Idle power is still much higher than it ought to be. Why can't it clock down the CPU and GPU like modern PCs do, that would save half the power consumption.

Even adding that feature to the die when doing the die shrink would have been worth it in return for fewer heat-related failures.
