ps2 was intro'd in 2000 and ps3 in 2006...6-7 years into the ps2 life cycle which was aimed to be 10 years....this doesn't mean they will WAIT until the end of 10 years to release the next psp...it means the current psp has enough in it to sell for 10 years time in whole and frankly I can see that happening tbh...

Regardless of theit intentions, PSP will be long dead well before it will be 10 years old unlike PS2. If they do release PSP2 they'll only hasten it's death.

and now why is that? :S I can see with some great games and a good price cut it keeps selling..maybe not in 10s of thousands but it will...especially in Jp and others

Again this whole thread is filled with people who doesn't take a step back and wonder hey, they stuck thru with ps2 for 10 year cycle but did introduce the ps3 before it ended...maybe just MAYBE that's what they will do now too? OMGZ THE INTERNETZ XPLODEZ WITH COMMON SENZ
