Sure that's a video of the launch year for the Wii/PS3 - when the critics were all universally singing its' praises. I don't believe that the critics and fans in subsequent years '07-'09 deemed the Wii to 'win' any of those conferences, but we all know that the Wii won the mass market in those years as the sales show.
Point being there's never been a correlation between 'winning' E3 and getting majority of sales. Obviously there's a bigger presence not being reflected upon by those in attendance and those that decide these outcomes.
