We have enough great shooters coming out to worry about a sequel to Resistance 2.

Because if it was shown here it would, in all likelihood, be a sequel to Resistance 2. The fact that it's taking longer to develop is a promising sign.

Yep, I thought the same. Probably R3 will even get a new graphics engine, but who knows.

I'm expecting an announcement at Gamescom.

Don't put too much faith in Gamescom. Most of it will probably be used as a final attempt to persuade people to buy PS Move. We might see Resistance 3 being announced there, but Last Guardian will probably be saved for TGS, and Agent won't fit in at all.

But don't worry. If these last few months have taught us anything, it's that:

a) North Korea can't be trusted

b) North Korea actually has a decent football team

c) Sony doesn't wait for press conferences and major events to announce/feature games.

I don't expect too much of Gamescom either, but an announcement of R3 with a teaser at least is a must IMO. But I expect Sony mostly to focus on Move. For Agent... I don't even think that we will see some footage of it this year.
