It's amazing; you clearly know exactly where the hypocrisy is, but you don't acknowledge it. A man saying such things would also be bashed to high heaven. The fact that is a woman fosters different insults from people in attempt to defame [her] name. The insults are just gender specific. NO ONE IN THIS THREAD said that "because she is a woman, she knows nothing about gaming, or GIRLS don't belong, etc" This is not an attack on entire gender, just Morgan.

I'm not sure if you're saying that we can be sexists because there are relatively few women For Petes sake...there is a segment, of gaming, that still lingers, in which women are viewed UNRIGHTFULLY and given a negative position in gaming. I'm not saying lets all be sexists blah blah blah gamers (gee, why might that be?!), or if you're saying that we should all have a problem with Morgan Webb being in the gaming press. Then I explicitly said there is another segment, which has no problem, with women taking part in gaming and expanding within it. It just sucks that this Morgan Webb girl, one of the few female voices that gets a fair amount of recognition, emits behavior that reflects poorly on the rest of her female colleagues. She is somewhat popular, so what she says reaches much farther than what a guy in tis case would say, because she is one of the few. Like I said, the few will be judged. If anything, you are using a strawman argument, because I typed more than that but you picked apart pieces to help your own point. Neither one makes any sense.
For the same reason that applies to Dameon Hatfield and over half the gaming press: because she's an idiot. Her gender has nothing to do with that, and you have no right to insinuate otherwise. I did not insinuate otherwise. Like stated above, she was in a place where everyone was giving praise and positive INFORMED reaction to the 3DS and such at the time, and she was out there making a fool of herself...again. I AGREE that her gender has nothing to do with her behavior, I never said it did. The manner in which explains herself lends her absolutely no credibility.

I don't hate her because she is a woman. I don't like her because she is misinformed and could potentially confuse new/curious gamers with her misinformed diatribes. I said she is behaving like a stereotype which reflects poorly on her. I am explaining her behavior to you, once again, so you can see why people instantly bash her.
