Microsoft dismisses 3D as "future" technology

Nintendo gave us a more concrete 3D product with the 3DS. Sony's can be enjoyed whether in 3D or not. Microsoft doesn't create technology to be revered in gaming, so really their opinion means nothing in the matter. When they start making technology then I might be able to take them seriously. the thing is I take Microsot more serious than Sony regarding 3D, due to microsoft not having a product for 3D.

Sony is using its fanboys to try and push 3D on all of us, just like they did with blu ray.  I hate being used by a company.  They are pushing these 3D games becuase they want us to buy their 3D tvs, and then their 3D blu ray movies and so on.  And that list there is one thing that is common, involves buying and buying new stuff. 

You have a point and Sony did use the gamers to save their format, but 3D is inevitable and Nintendo showed us with their handheld that it can be taken seriously.

yes it is inevitable, but just like microsoft said sometime later that they will consider 3D for home consoles once 30% of the people have 3D tv's.  To me this is a smart business move.  They wait till it is widely adapted, and not be like Sony who is trying to force the adaption to happen sooner.
