There has been a lot of talk about it but the OP's intention (IMO) was to say that Zelda and the stage presentation really didn't seem to do anything for him. It didn't seem revolutionary (Like many had hoped), it didn't seem overly epic (like many had hoped), the controls didn't even work well (Like many had hoped)....I think the OP acknowledged the fact that Zelda is Zelda and the chances of it being a poor game are slim.
But I believe he was making reference to the fact that from the stage presentations, Sorcery did look better. Not just graphically, but gameplay wise as well. I would agree with that. I think the OP also acknowledged that it's unlikely that this game is actually better than Zelda but from what we have seen thus far it was his impression.
As for the real merit of this discussion, I think that Sorcery needs to have an awesome story line with a non-linear environment and some full-fledged polish on it and more depth to it's combat system and if it does those things (based on what I've seen) it will be a AAA title.
It also could work as a Gauntlet / Diablo / Baulders Gate - esque type of game with friends. Again it will need a lot more depth in it's iventory system/story line/etc and multi-player. I feel this could be a big mover for Move if done right.
Will these things occur? I don't know to be honest, but after watching the gameplay, I am truly hopeful. Because I expect Sony to pump out better 'Motion Control' Software than Nintendo has at this point and this would be a great start.
