Which is the best 2D platformer shown at E3?

I personally picked DKC Returns and yes, mainly because is a DKC, but: have you seen the trailer? Does it not excite you at all? Don't you have a heart of your own? :P

I said before that DKC R, LBP 2, Kirby's Epic Yarn and Rayman Origins seem to be outstanding games. It all comes down to personal taste and (yes!) to which franchise you feel more emotionally attached. I don't think there's nothing wrong with it.

Without the pushing of graphics, DKC doesn't seem the same to me. DCK had good controls back in the day, but what set it apart was the graphics.  Without that, it is just another platformer.  Sorry, but that is how I feel.  I contrast that with Kirby, which is doing stuff I have never seen before, and an art style that is over the top cute.  It stands out as unique.  DKC left me an, "Ehh, that is cool".  But Kirby is like WOW.

And I am about equally unattached to Kirby as I am Donkey Kong Country.  Want to count my bias here?  I had a Genesis when the first Donkey Kong Country came out, and all I thought of it then was that it was pretty.
