on the first night of e3. I put my national news (ctv for you canadians out there) and kinect was talked about...on mainstream national news. Plus MS will be able to push it more in advertisement. That kinda exposure nets the win.
It's like when the wii first came out, I remember walking in the mall and the main plaza area had big screens tvs with wii sports being played, surrounded by all types of ppl, interested first to see the video games, and hten interested to try them. Kinect is has that type of attraction.
Like some one said, Move might have better precision and all, but it's the same to ppl who dun care as much as the tube surfers of this site.
