In it's essence, every business company is anti-everyone else. Each company does what's best for itself, sometimes at the cost dealing with other companies through mutual benefits.
Valve has always allied with Microsoft, especially after in the last few years - Every release Valve had done until 2010 was always a plus to Microsoft, and none against it. However, this year Valve's made decisions that damaged Microsoft, no matter how little:
- It gave MAC the extremely need games delivery.
- It promised LINUX the best of times.
- It gave to PS3 the best console version of Portal 2.
This time, you'll now probably see the vast majority of Valve's decisions not benefitting Microsoft.
