You do realize that "offered support to EA so they can sell more of Dead space 2 extraction. by TV ads, or help with development cost's of the port." is exactly the same behaviour that fans accuse MS of having on stuff like the GTA4 DLC episodes or the CoD map packs? In the end, 50 million or 5 dollars, what they are doing is offering support, free publicity, and covering development costs.
Don't be in denial, it's exactly the same thing, there's no difference whatsoever.
