The 3DS is a bit different from console 3D. The PS3 and the 360 still require a 3D tv and 3D glasses to get that effect in. Though some people question the technology itself, including film makers such as Francis Ford Coppola and Christopher Nolan (referencing 3D movies in this case). So it's hard to deny that MS has a good point.
