This... pretty much sums it up. Wii was also expensive when it first came out. Motion Control overall, gotta pay for it.

BTW... why are we talking discounts and stuff?... Stick to MSRP as thats what really counts. It's almost the same as saying the PS3/X360/Wii will be discounted via the retailer... how is that relevant to the consumer cost? unless its permanent which is why you gotta stick with MSRP.
