After reading and doing my own thinking I would say that Kaz has kept the PS3 in the game but he hasn't given it any sort of lead.. but on the other hand expecting him to take the PS3 even to the second place after such a disastrous start wasn't even a very realistic either.
He knew it the moment he was put in charge of PS3 that price is the biggest hurdle for the customer and for the developers so the first very critical thing he did to reduce price was to cut the backward compatibility which was a brave move but it has paid off and paid off very good. But now he has reasonable customer he need to get the developers in the fold... and to get them soon
I think 2008 is going to be a very critical year for him, can he maintain the momentum with PS3..
but for this X-MAS Kaz has passed the test may be with B+... but he has to ace it in the 2008 for his job and also for the existance of Playstation as a viable bzness for the Sony..
SO my score for him is B+(its 3.33 from 4.0 in my world) ... wot u give him.?
