Current 360 being phased out, SLIM will be the only model on the market

Didn't the 3 year warranty come into being on the back of RROD?  If so then surely MS would want to slip back to normal warranty levels with the new model?  Or perhaps they'll stick with 3 years to prevent any chance of hesitation of stigma of the new console from the old.
