Exactly, in the public's eye, the Xbox 360 cannot get any cheaper for it already is pretty cheap. The PS3 has always been known as the wallet-puncher, so when a price drop as significant as the Slim release price launched. Millions came out in droves to purchase it. 

true but in the U.S. xbox 360 still sold more than the ps3 in the holiday season when slim came out

americans love their fps games, and xbox 360 is where it is at. Bam!

I don't think the new one will sell all that great, but the old stock will be gone pretty quickly....then the new one will see a price drop of $50 but see an addition of $100 (due to kinect aka natal), but that is for another time
