I actually hope you are right.... I want a new gen now!!!!

(I get bored easily and I am a bit of a gadget slag)

Im a gadget whore too and im always too optimistic.

In any case I saw a few videos of a Natal interface on TVs. Since only high end 3D TVs would implement the interface then they'd need to make a case where all the games released on the Xbox are 3D enabled. In addition to this they'd probably want another core to manage any ancilliary functions like DVR recording etc.

Since games are being made today with 3D, DX11 (from PC) in mind they can capture the early adopter market for that and furthermore they can price the Xbox Kinect higher than the original price and add more features like Blu Ray and position it as a complete home entertainment system because half the goodness from Kinect is in the media interface and NOT having Blu ray would be counter productive IMO at least. Its especially true when you're wearing 3D glasses and using a remote is even harder.

Im probably wrong, but at least its only going to be a couple of hours until the chips are down.

Tease.
