| Schwarz said: @ChronotriggerJM - with what you said about Sonic/Mario and their 'logical' fitting in their games, how in gods name can you play a game with a opposum and his robot buddy saving the universe :) |
Well that game was from the beginning set in space :P Featuring many types of alien characters (opposum or "lombax"), said lombax race is supposed to be technologically inclined usually having robot companions (clank), he's a character that has plenty of dialogue (see mario), a sense of humor that actually applies itself to most people (see sonic), and your reason for being in numerous different locations involves you going to different planets :P (which makes sense to me). Paired with good voice acting, humor that all ages can laugh at, and a decent platform/shooting element mixed into the bunch it ends up being a very good game :P Just because something's sci-fi doesn't mean it can't be logical or make sense. Ratchet does a fine job of both :P
