Well I don't quite mean this in a way as an insult to any particular person but my taste's in gaming moved on from simple platforming to more detailed story's and stuff. The first game I ever played on the NES was Final Fantasy, then Zelda, I tried playing Mario and just never got the point, I thought the whole rescue the princess from a Giant Turtle was stupid :/ I never found the magic I suppose. Then my friend talked about Sonic the hedgehog!!! So I went into the experience with an open mind and learned that I'm a blue hedgehog who's following a platforming path that play's itself most of the time, to get to a fat guy who's in a machine so I can kill him and rescue.... forest animals >_>;;;; Then all my memories of Mario shot back into my head and kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. It's not an attack at the game, more or less just my taste in games. I really don't get Nintendo or Sega :/ |
Meh what did you wanted at that time?
A Kamikazekoala who is shooting people and kill the endboss with the final blow KAMIKAZE attack?
^^'' |
Well more or less of a feel of the character :P I play Mario and Sonic and I dont ever quite feel like they belong in the game, I mean hell, Donkey Kong Country, Your an Ape, your seeing to rid yourself of whatever's killing your Jungle, you collect Banannas, and your setting... is a Jungle. It all makes sense!!!!
Mario is a plumber... who's saving princesses in castles, who were abducted by turtles who command hordes of goombas (wtf?) and you kill them off by eating mushrooms and jumping on them... (does acid come with the game before I play it? ) Same with Sonic!! I'm a blue hedgehog that fights things by running real fast :D I go from jungle stages to lava pits, to city's submerged in water! WTF is going on! I can't build an understanding on these characters to save my life LOL
