Sonic was classic in 2d but only ever 'meh' once coverted to 3d (with the odd exception).
I think everyone would be happy to see Sonic regain his lofty position with a bunch of solid games. M & S and SSBB will do a lot to restore some lost luster, now if Sega can only capitalize on it. He's got 2 games coming to the Wii in the spring, let's hope they're better than previous recent efforts.
