SONY is definitely gonna lose that battle..lol..NINTENDO is literally one step ahead as always.

Not really as they haven't announced Wii HD and if they don't this year and most probably will not it could be FATAL as for next gen they just can't bring an HD upgrade

and by that time NATAL,MOVE would have eaten Wii's share

Lol crazzyman is that you? Do you honestly think that move and natal will actually hurt the Wiis marketshare?

not hurt but with wii sales dropping, people think 360 and ps3 as upgrades and will go for it

and if wii hd doesn't arrive then they will eat wii's share and nintendo won't have that good name to carry on to nect gen

and with all the companies arriving in next 2 years wit new consoles, nintendo won't have the advantage that a gen winner has with its brand name built

and no i'm not crazzyman

Why should Nintendo make a Wii HD? It is a losing strategy. The flaw in your perspective is you believe Nintendo is, and should be on the defensive, when really they are the aggressor. Natal, and especially Move, are defensive strategies to keep core gamers on THEIR consoles, because Nintendo is threatening to go after the core gamers with motion plus, which are the vast majority of Sony and MS's market. If Nintendo can entice core gamers with motion controls, then it's all but over for Sony and MS.

Nintendo making an HD Wii would be merely conceding defeat to Sony and MS, and why on earth would they concede defeat when they are the market leaders?

They will make an ALL new console, likely in a couple of years, with a new hook to differenciate themselves like they did with motion controls and the balance board, at which point Sony and MS will probably copy these new features as well. This strategy will keep Sony and MS constantly on their heels.
