You should try Paper Mario if you like RPGs but don't just want to watch stuff happen on screen, i mean the game doesn't have any flashy cutscenes (barely any cutscenes at all), it's all in the really fun battle system, there's certainly no "auto battle" in PM's battles

I love RPGs (it's tied as my fav genre with platformers) and I don't like to just watch stuff happen on screen either, that's why Tales and Paper Mario are two of my favourite game series ever :)

Tales = Cutscene heavy as well.

Seriously...

I meant that it wasn't plain turn based or similar (where you select an action then the on-screen character does a few moves), but more action oriented where the player actually performs actions in battle, same with Paper Mario
