You don't see what all the fuss is about because you don't have wackos, in your country, in every corner buzzing through your ears with one 
That thing's not only annoying, it can cause you permanent ear damage. A Vuvuzela honk can go up to 127 decibels. Any prolonged exposure to that sound can damage your hearing.
As for what I think about them....let's just say that I would personally take each Vuvuzela around the world, melt them, and create a giant meteorite to destroy the house of their creator, and everything around them.
