I'm just blown away how they can market something inferior to whats been available for years yet make these bold claims.

Besides Nvidia has been doing true stereoscopic 3d since the late 90s using CRT monitors and it didn't cost more than 1000 dollars.

but those aren't the way they show things today

if today a 3d glass can cost $100 then it could have easily been $1000 in the nineties

the whole 3D market today isn't that good but it is far from what was that time

and that 3D was shit in those years

also the content creation, players, data amount, quality, resolution, etc have all increased

Mostly not true.

The glasses today work exactly the same as the glasses for the sega master system in 1986. Sure those were wired and these are wireless, but the tech is the same. Resolution hasn't increased, PS3 is doing 720p 3D, CRT monitors could do that in 90s and 100 hz.

What has increased is the visual quality of games...and Sony can't take the credit for that solely.

the visual quiality helps the  3d view alot as you don't want pixels popping out of screen but the whole image

the tech must be the same but it has improved alot and the angles also but not entirely.

720p was ther in 90d but how many things were run on that res without pixelating

where did SONY come here from?

also VHS and dvd QUALITY in 3D is far lesser than what BLU-RAY could manage now
