GoW III has outsold DMC4 ! Best selling & reviewed slasher of this gen !

Who claimed it was that? I see more just mentioning it as the pinnacle of it's genre (hack & slash). While that is of course an opinion, don't make things into what they aren't.

i'm not making "things" (what ever that may be) into something else, i'm just stating my opinion that GOW 1, 2 or3  has never been the king/ pinnacle of the hack and slash genre.

And that is your opinion. DMC 3 was an amazing game, my favourite slasher before I played GoW.

For many, like me, simple to execute combos is a plus.in DMC it usually requires you to push the analog stick to a certain direction most of the time and that is a bit tedious when doing combos.

Nevertherless, DMC 3 did have superior combat system until GoW III closed that gap down a bit. But lets be honest, other than the amazing gameplay, DMC lacks a good story (some parts make you laugh at its stupidity).

GoW is more cinematic, has a good story and incorporates the awesomeness of Greek Mythology. Therefore its a better complete package imo. 

Don't say your opinions as its fact. You may like DMC more, but GoW is more popular among most people.
