Problem is, ignorance isn't bliss. Ignore it for so long and you might just become the victim even you've done nothing wrong. Torture has been proven to be ineffective.
You can get anyone to admit to anything with torture, regardless of method.
The people that welcome torture are the ones not receiving them. It's a tool for them. Fear is a wonderful control tool.
The ones that claimed it isn't torture should definitely take a swimming lesson.
The way some news worded it make it sounds like nothing and most people will not give it a second thought thinking it's a none issue.
