I'm posting this in gaming discussion because it's about a video game... so yeah.

Anyways, I think someone here posted a trailer of a Mega Man fan-made movie last year and I thought it was quite interesting, but I completely forgot about it all with college and stuff. So this morning, I had nothing to do and was checking Destructoid for fun and while looking at some archived news, I remembered about it and noticed it was out!

I just finished watching it and I'm quite impressed. I think it was great. Some people might say that they could have shortened everything and make it a 45-minute movie instead of 90-minute, but I liked that the director took his time to make a lengthy beginning with lots of meat to explain the Mega Man story (his creation, how Wily got mad, etc.). When I was watching the newest Star Trek movie, I thought the intro with Kirk at the Academy was done too fast. It would have been funny to see him mess around more... but I guess Hollywood movies are different. Anyways, indie stuff can be good and you know it when you don't cringe at any lines said in the movie!

If you have nothing to do, I recommend you check it out. Here's the link to the film: http://www.megamanfilm.com/

Anyone else seen it? What did you think about it? Would a Zelda/Metroid/Halo movie be as good if the director sticks to the original story as much as possible, like in this case?

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
