Lets look at things realisticly here and put personal prefferences aside...

How many AAA new IPs has capcom done since they booted Clover/Mikami? I can think of 2...Dead Rising, Zak and Wiki. I define AAA games as stand out games with great critical reception.

Better yet, how many good games have they done this gen? SF4, Dead Rising, RE5, Zak...anything else?

In addition to the already mentioned MH3, I'd also add Apollo Justice, Ultimate Ghouls N' Ghosts, Tatsunoko Vs Capcom and maybe the PSP MegaMan 1/X1 remakes (if those count).  Ghost Trick, Okamiden, MHP3, Last Ranker and Basara 3 look promising too.

Yeah I forgot about MH3...and TvsC as well, good call. Rest of those are...yeah. Upgraded ports of old games, simple portable games...etc.

Not saying they are not good...just that its not a good yardstick for company achievements.

Its like..."Sure we butchered a 20 million dollar production of a new Bionic Commando...but we sure kicked ass on those 8bit Megaman games".
