Gaming - *Used Games?* - View Post

I buy most of my games these days new from Amazon. I get a few dollars off, no tax, and free shipping. In fact, putting all these factors together usually makes a new game from Amazon cost less than a used game from Gamestop, or the difference is so negligible that I'd rather support the company. (Take a $39.99 PSP game- I usually get it from Amazon for $36.99, versus $34.99 used from Gamestop, plus local tax making it $36.74.)

However, the collector in me also buys older games that I can't get new. So I'm relegated to used copies on those. But I was very happy to recently find a new copy of Magna Carta in a Gamestop- they don't have the "new" SKU for it anymore, so I got the limited edition of the game for $15.74 with tax: the "used" price. (With it being a store-gutted copy, though, it probably was used...)
