it's the App's that Indie developer's could make, think Since Android OS now has full support for Flash. that right there help's with Flash support on your PS3.

Add in the Access to the Android App's store! run those Aplication's right on the PS3.
this being able to turn the PS3 into an Android OS machine is a benefit esp. if it would be free
which the Android OS is open source.
