You avoid debating with me... because I find a way to be right. No offense, but when people keep finding a way to be right in debates with me, I consider the fact that I may be wrong. It's easier that way because then I can change my opinion and be right. You can find proof on this on this very subject where i'm sure I've argued before that opinions can't be wrong on this board... until I had a very interesting conversation with soemone where i realized opinions actually can be wrong. Either way... I think Magic Johnson is the greatest basketball player, and can provide enough facts to make a credible arguement out of it. I wouldn't begrudge anyone who said Michael Jordan or Bill Russel was the greatest either. Damon Jones though... no. Or a less insulting comparison. Kobe Bryant.
Miyamoto is by any objective measure I can see the greatest developer. I could see arguements for a few others, like Will Wright, Sid Meyer and even the guy from Farmville. As for Naughty Dog... there just is no credible arguement for it for "best developer in the world" unless you use some VERY heavy qualifiers. Like "best graphical console developer." Which were not used. More on that in the next post though. The main difference here though is the difference between "Greatest" and "Favorite." They are two very different things that two many people combine because they treat their opinions as universal truth. Because you like a game best isn't even remotely a valid arguement for why someone or something is the best. Most people who think Michael Jordan are the best can't freaking stand him... because he destroyed their favorite teams. |
he is the best. long live mickael jay fox
