Well, the only way anything is inferior within a debate is if you're arguing fact vs opinion. Yes, facts are always superior because you can't dispute them, but in here, there have only been opinions.
Nobody is saying that you , Squill or anyone else that doesn't think Naughty Dog are the best devs are "factually" wrong (Hell, I don't even think they are). But the people that do are entitled to that, and can't be factually proven wrong on this.
I don't understand the heat over that.

Actually inferior opinions CAN be proven factually wrong. If it was my opinion that Damon Jones was the best basketball player of all time, this can very eaisly be proven wrong based on nothing that is purely factual.
If anyone claimed Damon Jones was the best basketball player of all time they would be laughed... off the planet basically by anybody.
Naughty Dog aren't exactly Damon Jones...
however they're Scottie Pippen at they're very best... not even best "on the own team" during their prime era.

As I've said, there's no such thing as an inferior opinion. It's either just an opinion, or can be factually proven wrong, making that opinion useless. In this case, it can't be proven wrong, it can be disputed, which doesn't make either of the opinions superior.
Just because many of us disagree that Nughty Dog are the best devs doesn't automatically make our opinions superior. It just means we disagree, which is simple logic really.

You are wrong however.
There are such things as inferior opinions.
Each opinion can be judged based on the foundation of that opinion.
Some opinion's have much more basis then others.
Or do you think Damon Jones being the greatest basketball player of all time is just as valid an opinion as Michael Jordan? No offense but that's a fools opinion.
There are MANY actual factual and contextual arguements for some developers are the greatest of all time. Naughty Dog pretty much has none of these.

If you can prove it wrong, the opinion is useless. If you cannot, it's nothing more than an objection. Ninja Theory's opinion can't be proven completely false, even if many don't agree.
Besides, what they're talking about can mean so many things. In what way are the best devs? Artistically? Technically? The most entertaining? They pedestaled Naughty Dog without too much on the specifics. It's their opinion though and it can't be changed, altered, disproved. It is what it is and many agree with them, at least right now.
You can have the final word though, which I'm sure you'll take that oppurtunity.

Once again.... as already stated, they said best Devs. This means overall, ALL things considered unless stated otherwise.
You know, like if you wanted to claim that Damon Jones is the best NBA player with a Mohawk, who has reinacted a Michael Jackson video with Shaq.
On the basis of "best developer all things considered" said opinion can and has been disproven.
There isn't one area in which they lead in the "stats."
The claim that all opinions are equally right is a lie made only to stop arguements without someone feeling bad for having an opinion that's based on shakey ground.
There are countless dumb opinions that can be justified by it. Like the afore mentioned Damon Jones opinion you keep dodging.
