Thats pretty sad. This screeaams of blind loyalty. I chose the 360 because I could not see paying more for the mediocre versions the PS3 has. I don't give a damn who makes the manufacturer is. Heck, if I could afford it I would buy a PC to go side by side with my Mac cause nothing on any console looks as good as Crysis. The reason why I would pay for Xbox live is because they actually have GOOD multiplayer quality going. Sony's free network just plain sucks, its VERY laggy and low quality. I pay money for a good game experience, not for brand loyalty. |
See I'm more of a Value for my Dollar kind of guy, I refuse to fork out $500 for a console that's only strongpoint is playing games, THEN makes me pay $60 a year to play online?!?. When I saw the PS3 for $600 and learned that it had a Blu-ray player, an AMAZING dvd upscaler, played PS1-2 games, AND had free online play, the choice was very easy for me. Value for dollar when the consoles were released was not even a question, paired with the 360's massive failure rate I just can't see why anyone would pay for it :/ But anyway, back on topic I suppose, I'm glad to see the PS3 gaining some ground :P about damn time!
Oh and a side note, keep in mind PSN is just passing the year mark? Were you around to see Xbox Lives first year? :D If not, consider yourself lucky ^_^
