Brutal Legend isn't bad, but Valkyria Chronicles is extremely popular on here (I've personally never gotten around to buying it). By far the best game on that list, though, is Assassin's Creed II. The first was dull, repetitive, and decent at best. The second is brilliant.

Not at all, no. The first one's plot was so confusing that even people who played it had no idea what happened.
