I asked for two. You couldn't just give me two?
Commenting as I listen.
1. Barthandelus: Interesting, but actually fairly boring. Having a choir chant a little bit doesn't make for a particularly engaging composition. Lacks melody.
2. Eidolons: I initially thought this was going to be better, but it suffers from the same problem as the first song in that there's very little in the way of zeniths or nadirs in the sound (I don't know how to phrase this) and it's consistently unexciting.
3. L'Cie: Same problem, again. I think the problem here is that this feels mostly like techno. Maybe it needs context to b engaging? It's not, the way you're presenting it.
4. Saber's Edge: Okay this is very nice. Feels like it builds and builds, like you're getting into a part where you are supposed to be whooping ass.
I said I'd offer two, so here they are:

This is not dipping into stuff like the final boss theme, which constitutes a spoiler for me.
Anyway:
I'm not sure that what you're describing is a cliche, it just mans that they're consistently characterized. Unless you also imply that none of them change, in which case you are incorrect. I ask again: what of them was cliche?
