Israeli soldiers killed U.S. citizen in flotilla massacre: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/06/03/AR2010060301931.html

Reports in the Turkish press identified the American as Furkan Dogan, 19, who was born in the United States before returning to Turkey with his family as a young child. The Cihan news agency reported that Mr. Dogan had one bullet in the chest and four bullets fired into his head from close range.

Holy hell! The israeli soldiers executed an american civilian!!!!

So where in that article does it say he was executed?

With so many rumors and testemonies of israeli soldiers having executed some people in the flotilla massacre, you gotta wonder!!

4 shots in the head and 1 in the heart, in close range. Execution style definitely.

How about we just just stick to 'shot and killed' while details of this incident are still being sorted.

That being said, it doesn't jibe with the earlier report I read that the soldiers were aiming at the legs of their assailants. Not too surprising, since both soldiers and police are trained to shoot to kill if they're going to be shooting at all.

Other activists reported the use of tear gas, tasers and plastic bullets, so I'd like to know why these non-lethal weapons were so incapable of controlling this one group.
