I dont think Sega deserved to have it sell badly, the port wasnt that bad, i felt it was just the loading that was getting on my nerves. i've had PS exclusives Heavy Rain and God of War 3 freeze on me twice, and Bayo hasnt frozen once, and i didnt notice the screen tearing as much as people say.

the game did deserve to sell better though, it so much more fun that the DMC games and leaps and bounds above GOW3 and Dantes Inferno.

Well I completely disagree.  In fact if anything Bayonetta is one of the biggest dissappointments this gen for me.  I dont think any game is leaps and bounds above God of War III in anything it does.  And to say so is a little ridiculous IMO.

Yeah thats fair enough, i suppose we're both entitled to our own opinions. i think it was better than GOW3 because the action was faster, and the enemy lock system was more accurate. the move sets was more strategtic, instead of the good old Plume of Promethesus (sqaure, sqaure, triangle). errm i loved how you would have to dodge at the last possible moment to slow down time and counter with a massive wicked weave.

and of course the centerpiece of the comabt was the 'dodge offset', where you hold your combo when you dodge an enemy. just so much innovation on every level, i felt the combat was intense, where as i felt GOW was just pressing the same sequence of buttons as in the previous games, adding very little innovation. and the weapons wernt that varried. this is all my opinion, but GOW did have some badass boss fights and i think the quick time events were much better than Bayo, but when it comes down to cold hard action, Bayo wins imo.

I love how everyone mentions this when talking about God of War combos, but I am actually doing the same thing in Bayonetta.   I have used the same combo about 200 plus times already (5x Triangle),  and I have made it to level 5 already without much difficulty.   Why am I doing it?  I am doing it because I am using the same lack of imagination that everyone that has ever made the same comment you did.  So how is that for more strategic combo move set?

I also wouldnt say that the combo is innovative, all that ends up happening is you spam witch time and use the best combo (5x Triangle), rinse repeat.   Thats not innovation
