I just read that father of the Playstation was first made promoted to chairman and group CEO of SCEI and then he retired on June 19.
Thats surely can be due to the failure of PS3. so how u rate this Kazuo hirai.? i believe it is his first x-mas.? So what changes he has made... Has made any stride in getting back the exclusives or keeping the studios with him strong.
I am not a very avid follower but just a bit curious... don't see such analysis here.. A little reading i have done here shows that things have not improved much but this x-mas PS3 has beaten the expected sales and will surely reach 8.5million where most optimistic people were not expecting greater than 8 million. So this is a good sign.
But wot about post x-mas, how will he manage to keep the sales high and above XBOX 360...
Any strategy you see from Kazuo Hirai.? and how u rate his strategy against Ken Kutaragi. and finally how good Kazuo will be for Play Station Brand..
Just think something other than games and sales prediction should be here too..
