Well its funny but many of the older graphics whore titles really have stood the test of time and become ageless/classics. I don't see why this dichotomy between graphics and gameplay can be sustained. Its especially funny since I don't know of many/any computer games which had no gameplay or no graphics as even simple ascii text art is still graphics in a way.
