Most of the graphics whoring nowadays is only a derivative expression of fanboysm, since ps3 and 360 are the two oppining consoles with the most similar game library in history, graphics is the easiest thing to conplain about, I mean you don't even have to try the game before start complaining....and these trend is also caused by developers that spends most of their time tring to create the coolest engine instead of designing an original excperience.
and....Are you sure that "real" graphics whores did ever actually knew what gaming was about?
