The fact he still has a career right now is wonderous. He began when all the rappers of the time were systematically being killed. Tupac, dead. Biggie, dead. Cam's mentor, Big L? Murdered. Big L was the shining member of his group (Children of the Corn) and when he passed, few of his associates could weather that loss. Cam was relatively young (20?) and he still managed to salvage a career. Working on over 20 albums and dozens of mixtapes, he's still here. Beef with 50 Cent didn't kill him, nor did beef with Jay-Z. Even after he was shot, Cam came back out.

Just give credit where it is due.
