Every time I hear the term "console exclusive" I interpret that to mean that among the consoles X game is exclusive to Y console, not that it is exclusive to consoles and does not exist on PC. As far as I understood the new forum rules, the mod staff accepted the term console exclusive to be defined as PC the specified console. That's why Gears is called console exclusive, because out of all the home consoles it can only be played on one.
No 360 fan ever tried to hide the existence of Gears PC, I think 90% of the bitching over the term console exclusive is PC fans purposefully misinterpreting what people are saying to stir shit up.
