Isn't the DLC coming for the original L4D showing how Bill died and Louis gets injured and aquires that powerful gun? He may just be referring to that and mistook it for L4D3 although I have no doubt another L4D is in the works I just hope they clean things up a bit as L4D2 has Ai and network problems the first game didn't.
