Isn't L4D on 360 being published by EA? That could explain the reason why there is a new L4D every year.

 

If there is a new L4D, Im happy. L4D2 is getting boring, sure the passing is great but it takes Valve a LONG time to make DLC, i mean a really long time, they need to release it every 2-3 months not 6-12 months.

Valve are in the EA Partners thingy, so they have total control over their games, EA "just" publishes.

On one hand, I find it odd that Valve would milk the IP, but as long as the quality is there, then why not. If anything, Call of Duty has shown that multiplayer games can afford to be milked, and still rake in the sales.

And yeah, Valve are taking too long to bring out DLC.

Oh well, they're still doing Portal 2, so I'm not complaining!

Valve doesn't need the money thats for sure, so i have no idea why they're milking it.... Meh, like you said, as long as their is quality ill be buying it.

 

Portal 2 will have the same developement time as GT5 LOL!
