how can someone compare tv ads and billboard ads... as we see in real life... with full and fresh packets of doritos randomly placed in the jungle?

Yea. Because that is the most unrealistic thing about the MGS series. Not snake's infinately deep pockets, magically healing rations, physic and super powered bad guys, dead ninjas, and infinate ammo bandannas. No your right, the MGS series is just too realistic to have a bag of doritos in the jungle. It's a good thing MGS3 didn't have rations, ammo and naughty magazines just randomly laying in the jungle as well. This totally realistic series is now doomed.

now you are being silly and going off topic.

You could use the exact same argument for alan wake then... those verizon ads really ruin the realistic nature of this game... I mean I was on board with the bit where i can stop posessed objects with a torch, and those killer ravens too can be stopped in their tracks with a 1.5watt bulb with some ever ready's packed in.. but a tv ad!!? and a billboard ad!!!? come on!! thats so unrealistic!!!

I already stated that the product placement didn't bother me in alan wake. Only the hypocricy of some people. Now your just showing your bias. In MGS the bag of doritos makes just as much sense as the energizer batteries in alan wake laying in the woods every 15 feet.
